Description

This is a flexible, food-grade silicone mould in a makeup design, used to set melted chocolate, jelly, resin-free craft mixes or a light cake batter into a clean, detailed makeup shape. Pour or press the filling into the cavity, let it set or bake as the recipe requires, then flex the silicone gently from the back to pop the finished piece out without it sticking or tearing — something a rigid plastic or metal mould can’t do as easily. The non-stick silicone surface means little to no greasing is needed before each use, and the mould itself is dishwasher-safe, oven-safe and freezer-safe, so it can go from mixing bowl to oven or freezer to demould without changing containers. Cake decorators use shapes like this for themed cake toppers, chocolate favours and party-table desserts, while home bakers use the same mould for quick festive treats. Because it’s silicone rather than a disposable mould, it holds its shape and detail across many uses rather than wearing out after one bake. Wipe or wash it after each use and let it dry fully before storing flat, to keep the detail in the mould crisp.
